The Parker family has owned this waterfront property since 1915, and their 100% estate grown wines now have a fitting new home to be poured in. Well behaved dogs are welcome on leash, so feel free to bring the whole crew.

Catch their Wednesday or Thursday Happy Hour (4 to 6pm) at Chamard Bistro, then spend the rest of the afternoon at nearby Hammonasset Beach State Park or browsing Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets. Wine, sand, and shopping, all within a few miles of each other.

Diamond Hill Vineyards in Cumberland, Rhode Island is celebrating 50 years as a family run winery this year, and it is still one of the most laid back stops on the list.
